Cette technique permet de plier des plaques d'acier sans modifier leur position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pliage de rouleaux : <\/strong>Cette technique consiste \u00e0 plier les t\u00f4les d'acier en formes courbes ou en rouleaux. Elle fait appel \u00e0 la presse plieuse, \u00e0 une presse hydraulique et \u00e0 trois rouleaux pour obtenir la courbe souhait\u00e9e. Elle est id\u00e9ale pour les c\u00f4nes, les tubes et autres mat\u00e9riaux en forme de creux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cintrage en U : <\/strong>Ce processus de pliage est similaire au pliage en V. Les caract\u00e9ristiques de l'ourlet sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9es pour donner de la solidit\u00e9 \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce et pour assembler des parties. Pour garantir un r\u00e9sultat de cintrage r\u00e9ussi, il est conseill\u00e9 d'\u00e9loigner les trous des coudes d'au moins 2,5 fois l'\u00e9paisseur du mat\u00e9riau (T) plus le rayon de courbure (R). Lorsque l'on utilise des fentes pour le cintrage, il est conseill\u00e9 de les placer \u00e0 au moins 4 fois l'\u00e9paisseur du mat\u00e9riau plus le rayon de cintrage, \u00e0 l'\u00e9cart du cintrage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les fentes et les trous qui sont trop proches du bord de la pi\u00e8ce peuvent causer un probl\u00e8me de bombement.
