Bei diesem Verfahren wird das Aluminiumteil in ein S\u00e4urebad getaucht, das in der Regel aus Schwefel- oder Chroms\u00e4ure besteht, w\u00e4hrend ein elektrischer Strom durch das Teil geleitet wird. Das Teil wird an der Anode befestigt, w\u00e4hrend die Kathode die positiven Ionen anzieht und damit eine Reaktion in Gang setzt, die die Sauerstoffionen zur Aluminiumoberfl\u00e4che zieht.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Reaktion macht das Aluminium por\u00f6s, so dass es sich mit Sauerstoff verbinden und eine dicke Oxidschicht bilden kann. Sie sorgt f\u00fcr eine ausgezeichnete Korrosions- und Verschlei\u00dffestigkeit und verbessert allgemein die \u00c4sthetik.<\/p>\n<p>Die Dicke und die Eigenschaften der Oxidschicht h\u00e4ngen von der Art der Eloxierung ab. Typ II Eloxieren erzeugt eine d\u00fcnne, 8-12 Mikrometer dicke Oxidschicht und bietet m\u00e4\u00dfigen Schutz mit einer glatten Oberfl\u00e4che. Beim Eloxieren des Typs III hingegen wird eine wesentlich dickere Oxidschicht (35-50 Mikrometer) erzeugt, die aufgrund ihrer h\u00f6heren Verschlei\u00df- und Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit eine
